Basing on the recommendations of the plan in the port of Poti was realized:
Reconstruction of the oil storage facilities
Modernization of the railways for the serving to the mobile reservoirs
Technological upgrading of the oil pipeline
Equipping of the waste water processing facilitiesProvision of the additional electric power source
The plan elaborated gives the strategy of the operative reaction with taking into account the possible spreading of the oil products spill in accordance with the existing hydrological and meteorological conditions. In addition an analyses of the possible scenarios of the oil spill spreading was carried out. |
