| Summary |
The project implementation had foreseen several activities and hydrological assessment was one of the important components. Regarding the water quantity and water quality data management many important results are achieved for the State Department of Hydrometeorology of Georgia in the frames of the project implementation.
Several Hydrological Stations in georgian rivers are rehabilitated and equipped with modern devices (e.g. automatic meteorological stations); Historical and real time data bases concerning water quantity and water quality are established, necessary processing techniques installed;Local net for data gathering is created;For the quick data flow internet connections are provided;WEB page for regional data exchange is developed;The necessary trainings are provided. |
