| Summary |
Marine litter monitoring in Georgian Black sea area is carried out within the EMBLAS II project frames. Surwey of litter on the beaches of Georgia is perform in Kobuleti, Ureki, and Sarpi. The floating litter monitoring is realised on the 4 rivers: Rioni, Supsa, Natanebi and Chorokhi. For this category of monitoring the special planchet computer application is used. Received data are sended to the RIMMEL data center. Sea surface litter surwey is carry out during the scientific cruise, NPMS-JOSS Pilot Monitoring "National Pilot Monitoring Studies and Joint Open Sea Surveys in Georgia, Russian Federation and Ukraine, in May 2016.
