| Summary |
The project aims to study the geochemical and hydrological situation in the coastal zone of the Black Sea and an impact of rivers discharge on the marine environment The field in-situ measurements and lab chemical analysis of the water and sediment samples carried out (T, PH, fulvoacids and TPH ) shows, that an ecological situation in the area is not catastrophic, but the Rv.Rioni itself is under the growing anthropogenic influence, especially near the populated points (mainly waste materials, waters etc.), that have an impact on the recreational quality of adjacent area of the river’s mouth. |
