| Summary |
For purpose of rehabilitation of Poti port breakwater construction will need to provide hard, durable rocks, like hard limestone, for example 2.5/2.6 t/m3. A specific reconnaissance study is to be accomplished to ascertain information for each of 3 or 5 quarries. In compliance with terms several deposits have been selected. Phisico-mechanical characteristics of limestone from Nokalakevi deposit revealed the high quality of rocks. Estimation of operation and transportation costs has been made. Along with other expenses the cost price of rocks was defined. Suggestion is to exploit two quarries in parallel. It freight cars used the mentioned scheme will reduce loading of r/w stations as well. |
